During high school she was able to throw six perfect matches and 13 no-hitters. Her next destination was University of Arizona. She made three All-Americans and also the First Baseman. Her Honda Award was also given in 2001 and 2002, when Arizona won the title of national softball champion. The Wounded Warrior Amputee Softball Teams (WWAST) purpose is to create awareness through the sport of exhibitions and games with celebrities of the sacrifices and perseverance of our soldiers and demonstrate their ability to rise above any challenge.
